We are so pleased that you plan to “take tea” with us. We hope that you will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the surroundings, and the delectable tea service you have chosen. A tea room is a unique dining experience. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our suggestions below before your first visit! Save time to browse through our gift shop located on the second floor of the inn.
Making Reservations
Making a reservation is a requirement as seating is limited. You can make a reservation online, in person or by phone. Please DO NOT arrive at the tea room with an extra guest. Our tea rooms are quaint, and our reserved tables fill to a maximum. We usually can not accommodate an unexpected guest at the last minute.

Please call us to make a reservation:

Please only leave ONE message and be sure to include your name, phone number, number in your party, date and time of your requested reservation, desired type of tea service, handicapped accommodations (see below) and any food allergy alerts. Leaving a message does not guarantee a table! All phone reservations MUST be confirmed by the hostess. Please see our Tearoom Events Policies for additional information.
We do not take reservations through email, text messages, Facebook messenger, Instagram Direct Messaging, or fax.
Dress Code
We are often asked if we have a dress code and we appreciate that inquiry. Because we believe that coming to tea is a special occasion, we suggest that casual clothing such as cut-offs, tee shirts, and half-shirts are not appropriate attire. We absolutely LOVE when our guests dress up for tea, and have served some absolutely classy, beautiful ladies and handsome, dapper gentlemen at our establishment.
Handicapped Accommodations
There is handicapped parking at the tea room in Westminster. Please use the entrance marked “Gift Shop/Handicapped Accessible”. We have a wheelchair-accessible bathroom located on the first floor. When making your reservation, please let us know if you are able to go up and down a flight of stairs, or if you require first floor seating.
Time Well Spent
We offer many different types of tea services at the Kate Pearl Tea Room. Understandably, some tea services take longer than others. In addition, some teas take longer to brew than others. Expect your pot of tea to arrive between 10 and 15 minutes after you place your tea order. Your food will be served in several courses. We allow up to 2 1/2 hours for each party to enjoy their tea service before we allow the table to be reserved for the next seating. Please be considerate of the party that is waiting for your table. If you feel the need to occupy a table for longer than 2 1/2 hours, please let the hostess know when you make your reservation.
Children at the Tea Room
We welcome well-behaved children over the age of 5 years at our tea room. We ask in advance that you keep your children in their seats for the duration of your tea service. Please remember that many of our guests have arranged child-care for their own children so that they can enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the tea room. Running around the tea room/gift shop and up and down the stairs is not acceptable behavior for our smallest guests. We ask that you please kindly honor our minimum age of 5, and actively supervise them during your visit. Please remember that tea services can run between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. That is a long time for a little person to sit still. We do not have high-chairs or accommodations for strollers. We welcome nursing infants, but do not have slings for car seats.
